Takeoff (Easy):

The very big and wide takeoff field is covered by grass. With a nicely blowing headwind which is created by thermal activities, taking off is very easy.

 

Flight:

​

As the difference of altitude of this site is more than 1400m, even with little thermal activity the flight is very long. But normally there are very good thermal conditions in the open valley. On a good thermal day it is easy to do  cross-country flights . The view is spectacular.

 

Landing (Easy):

 

Beside the river, near the town of Bolombolo there is a very long field where the official landing site is situated. Thanks to its size it is very easy to to land there. And it is just a few minutes walk to the road entering the village.
