Calentón

 

Takeoff (Medium):

​

On this small takeoff  there is a very narrow space which only allows one paraglider to prepare for takeoff. Wait for a good headwind to takeoff. Normally in the mornings there is a nice headwind. In the afternoon wind can turn and come from behind.

 

Flight:

​

Located in the Valley of the Tonusco the thermal conditions are nice and smooth. Because of the hot temeprature, the thermal upwinds reach a high altitude and this way it is easy to do a long distance flight.

 

Landing (Medium):

 

For a distance flight in the open valley there are many possible landing sites. The official one is situated directly at the bottom of the mountain. On the big field landing is very easy. Strong wind in the valley can make the landing difficult. Be careful and watch the signs (trees, smoke et cetera).
