Apía

 

Takeoff (Easy):

This is a relatively new flying site where a group of pilots created a very nice, big Takeoff area which is covered by grass.

 

Flight:

​

Smooth thermal flying because of the tropical circumstances. This flying site lies at the beginning of the big, opened valley „El Valle“. Long distance flights are easy to realize.

 

Landing (Easy):

 

The official landing zone is a vey big, field of grass at the bottom of the mountain. It is situated right next to the street which goes back to the village of Apía.
